Before I release the first episode of LIMBUS, I thought I’d share with you what to expect from the series.
This is all subject to change, but for now, herein lies...
THE PLAN
Every fortnight I will release a new episode of LIMBUS for the Kindle app.
Each episode will be around 22,000 words in length. Some episodes may be shorter, most will be longer, it just depends where the natural breaks fall in the story.
However, every episode will have the same fixed price: $0.99/£0.99
I envisioned this series as a trilogy, where 5 episodes = 1 book.
Therefore, by the end, the LIMBUS series should be 15 episodes in total.
After every 5th episode, I will release a book compiling the previous 5 episodes.
Books will be the same price/ slightly cheaper than the combined cost of 5 episodes, for people who'd prefer to read the story all at once.
You can expect a new book roughly every 3 months.
After the release of a book I will return to the regular release schedule of a new episode every fortnight.
If for some reason I need to disrupt this schedule, this will occur between books. Although, I hope this won’t be necessary: I have already completed the first book, I have a 2nd draft of the sequel, and have started writing episodes for the third. This release schedule should give me plenty of time to finish the whole thing, but I’d rather have a small delay than release rushed material!
I will update this website regularly with the release dates for upcoming episodes and books, and will post if anything changes.
Finally, I’m grateful for all those who decide to join me on this journey, and I hope you enjoy what you read, no matter what the format!
